At this moment, there isn't a dedicated appeal feature on our discord. For now use the
✅|reports
channel and make aplayer report
ticket. Fill out the field as it follows:
Who are you reporting?
→ Your player account name you wish to appeal for
What rulde did they break?
→ What you were restricted for (i.e. Hacking, Toxicity, TP Killing)
On what server did it happen?
→ type:Appeal
We know that currently you can only appeal if your account is linked to the discord prior to getting banned, an alternative is being worked on that will allow all users to appeal.
You are welcome to appeal an active restriction for a variety of reasons. If you think you were wrongly punished, or have learned your lesson when dealing with permanant restrictions, consider appealing. You aren't able to appeal for warnings, as that it only serves to give you a second chance to stop what you were doing.
Abusing this feature does have it's consequences. If we find that you aren't taking it seriously, you may be prevented from appealing in the future. This doesn't mean you will be punished if your appeal is denied, however we do suggest you take a step back and think whether you should appeal or not. You should not be appealing right after a mute/ban because you learned your lesson.
Do understand if you do make an appeal, you are NOT entitled to seeing what proof we have. Appeals are reviewed by higher staff members, and we can assure you they will be unbiased when making a decision. That being said, please do not pester staff to review your appeal, this will be seen negatively. Remember we too have our own lives and don't dedicate our time on the server 24/7. Understand we take a lot into consideration when making a decision on whether to accept your appeal or not. General behaviour on the server, any history of past restrictions, any harassasment towards staff from your restriction, review of documented proof of restriciton, etc.
If your appeal is found to be accepted, please refrain from attacking the staff member that issued the restriction in any way or form. It is the job of the higher up staff to discuss with the staff member of their mistakes. We are all humans, mistakes can happen! Depending on the difficulty of the decision made, understand you may be watched closely even when your appeal was accepted. If you believe it's being taken to extreme levels, we suggest talking to a higher staff member and they will then handle it.
This is a list of things to consider when appealing. Use this for reference as these are some things we think about when making our decision.
Remember, we don't issue permanant bans/mutes unless we have a very good reason, usually involving an extensive history of previous restrictions. We find our duration lengths to be appropriate for the type of offense. That being said, this isn't a discouragement from appealing if you think you deserve it. We want players to have fun on Craftbit, but you must respect our rules so everyone can have an enojoyable time!
